Left of the AltRight Roundtable Discussion

I almost didn’t post this, cause I’m mostly bored of talking about these kinds of subjects. It seems like kind of a waste of energy. I’d much rather focus on things I’m actually interested in, like building a futuristic mall city, or self-contained gated suburb on an island, with Chuck E Cheese tokens being the official currency. The most pressing issue for me right now is finishing projects I’m working on, which have nothing to do with politics.

Anyway, for those of you still ideologically invested in this other crap, the podcast can be found here:

http://www.starktruthradio.com/?p=7108

It features a bunch of other people and I pontificating on various things that will be of great interest to a small number of people. This is Part 2 of a previous episode. I didn’t post part one, because it wasn’t very good or structured well, and a water heater was being installed in my apartment so I had to do the entire podcast from the roof of the Fashion Square Mall parking garage. It was hotter than shitballs outside (over 110 degrees) and loud as fuck. Part II was okay though.

Robert Stark, Brandon Adamson, Ashley Messinger, and Constantin von Hoffmeister continue the discussion on the political scene known as the Alt Left, Left Wing of the Alt Right, or Alt Center.

The Good Guys and the Bad Guys

Renowned Wikifeet model and male tear bathhouse patron, Jessica Valenti posted a brief but lucid defense of NYTimes tech writer Sarah Jeong’s extensive history of anti-white tweets:

“Sarah Jeong is good, her haters are bad (terrible, even). It’s not difficult. I support whatever women need to do – including snarky tweets – to negotiate this racist, sexist website.”

So there you have it. Sarah Jeong is one of the good guys, and her haters (aka white people who responded harshly to her openly hostile tweets about them) are the bad guys.

Nevermind the fact that Twitter is an incredibly easy website to navigate and millions of people manage to do so without constantly expressing their hatred for white men and women. Valenti sneakily attempts to make this a “women being harassed online by men” issue when it isn’t. White women are also increasingly the target of unprovoked vitriol from the likes of intersectional identitarians like Jeong.

For her part, Jeong also misrepresented the situation in that she claimed her anti-white tweets were “counter trolling” in response to harassment she was receiving. However, she conveniently left out the fact that the “harassment” itself was in response to similar inflammatory tweets she made toward the same groups. It’s not like these trolls just randomly appeared in her mentions for no reason, simply to attack her because she’s a woman of color (barf.)

I don’t really have a problem with my co-ethnic, Jessica Valenti (a fellow Italian.) She’s one of my favorite feminists, and as the intersectional community becomes increasingly dominated by hostile non-whites, she’ll eventually find herself cast out, perceived as just another Becky the way Rose McGowan was. A temporary useful ally, soon to be pushed aside. For now though, Valenti still sees herself as one of the good guys…and so do I. After all, both sides are the same.

Anyway, if I’m being totally honest, this whole article was mostly just an excuse to post the theme song from Any Which Way You Can, which struck me as oddly relevant.

Official Response to Trump’s Remarks on the AltLeft

As many of you may well know, President Trump conducted a press conference earlier today in which he specifically made disparaging remarks about the AltLeft. Many of these statements were slanderous and well off the mark. No one that I know who is associated with the AltLeft (which by the way has existed for years) would ever support or engage in violence. As anti-alpha male anti-heroes, we don’t care for brodozers and machismo and people who eat chips loudly. We like our testosterone bound to SHBG, not left unchecked where it is free to bind to receptor sites willy nilly or converted into its more potent forms. I personally don’t even like to attack bugs. In fact, I once had a black widow spider web in my shower and continued to shower next to it for a year, leaving the web completely undisturbed. Occasionally I would glance over at the spider, its red hour glass glistening through the steamy water droplets, and I would say “hey bud. how’s it going?” I have no empirical proof, but to this day I like to think we had an understanding. The idea that we would attend rallies and assault people, could not be further from the truth. I could not harm a fly. Speaking of insects I was as shocked as anyone when in the 1958 version of the film “The Fly,” Vincent Price and the detective just stood there idly watching as Al Hedison was devoured by the spider. They made absolutely no effort to save him despite his desperate cries for help. Militants? Violence? Yeah right. To paraphrase Mike Myers in Wayne’s World “I don’t even own a gun, let alone many guns, which would necessitate a gun rack.”

Trump’s comments are a slap in the face to anyone who believes that the less aggro elements of Antifa and the AltRight should combine forces to get single payer health care passed and a plan for student debt relief. They could focus their dual energies on dismantling the college football industrial complex. Time to get rid of the obsession with national championships, ditch the needless playoffs and restore conference rivalries. Go back to naming bowl games strictly after fruits, plants and other commodities rather than mega-corporations. If the AltRight and Antifa groups are to have skirmishes, they should take the form of squirt gun battles, their classic Super Soaker 50s and translucent squirt guns, filled not with bleach but with Hi-C, Tang and Capri Sun. Yeah that’s right, the red pill is for squares. The AltLeft is all about the orange pill. That’s where instead of spending a bunch of your hard earned mooncoin to attend a rally in Podunk USA and get maced by strange looking subhumans, you simply head on down to the food court at your local dying mall and order up an Orange Julius, quietly(!) slurping it while daydreaming about the cosmos and reminiscing about the Radio Shack you used to buy remote control cars from in the late 80’s, which has now been replaced by some kind of ethnic eyebrow waxing place (thanks to both globalization and greed induced corporate imperial overextension.) Go ahead, call us chic nihilists, fedora nationalists, new suburbanists, retro futurists or snorters of Pixy Stix. We don’t care. Deep down, orange you glad we didn’t take the black pill or the turquoise pill or the periwinkle pill? You know you are. By the way, as I’ve mentioned many times I’ve always disliked the pill analogy. The Matrix is a terrible movie. The camera work practically gave me motion sickness, and the whole cheesy “he’s the one” thing made this cynical GenX’er roll his eyes while mentally barfing at the screen of this melodramatic spectacle. It was a total corn muffin, not a sci-fi movie that I cared for that’s for sure. I hated the digital effects and didn’t even enjoy the overall ambianic aesthetic as much as that of Damnation Alley, which is really saying something.

Trump’s statements are also a violent assault on every intelligent, well meaning, teal haired white feminist beauty who works her ass off in retail and reluctantly complains about how Indian customers are disproportionately cheap, and how they’re constantly demanding discounts and other free shit. Furthermore, Trump’s words betray every Xenu fearing person who has been stuck in line at Starbucks behind someone who couldn’t just simply place a fucking order without asking questions about every item on the menu…the calories, the ingredients, the special requests, the whole shebang.

When Trump condemns the AltLeft, it’s an insult to every person who recognizes that Vegas Vacation is the superior film in the National Lampoon’s Vacation franchise, even though Ethan Embry became kind of an SJW. What is it with former child/teen stars becoming SJWs anyway? I don’t care about Will Wheaton, as I never got into Star Trek. Tristine Skyler (whom I had a brief childhood crush on after seeing her in the film Kidco and who outshined Christian Slater in one of the best ABC Weekend Specials, The Haunted Mansion Mystery) was a little bit more disappointing. She went to Princeton though, so good for her. I really don’t understand how any 70’s or 80’s kid could get more than superficially into social justice. Our childhoods were filled with grossly offensive things, (remember Cabbage Patch Preemies? like ewww wtf I love social justice now) and those same childhoods were radically unmatched in their total awesomeness. Anyhow, suffice to say that Trump’s presser was a personal affront to anybody who found Back to the Future III to be a lackluster finale to the trilogy. I’m not sure how many people that works out to be, but it’s more than a few. You know it’s true. What Trump said is mind boggling for anyone who was inspired by Warren Beatty’s charismatic “Guy Named Porpoise” speech in the 1978 film Heaven Can Wait only to wonder why 40 years later nobody prioritizes these issues.

Trump’s criticism of the behavior of the AltLeft feels like knuckles to the creep to every laid back Beatnik Fascist that doesn’t care much for blabbing the drab gab but rather chatters hep patter on twatter, if you catch my drift. Not everyone wants to take the long trip to Roman Salutesville, but if we decide to rig ourselves a little shindig vessel, what’s the harm in a few kicks? After all, we’re peace loving moonboots, and you’re the tabby cat with the codes to the missiles.

Every left transhumanist who seeks bionic upgrades, mind uploading, immortality and the resurrection of wooly mammoths should be disturbed by Trump’s pontificatory declarations about the fabric of our being. Like Box in Logan’s Run we are “more than machine, more than man, more than a fusion of the two. Don’t you agree? Wait for the winds. Then our birds sing. And the deep grottos whisper our names.” Trump may have “one of the highest IQs,” but he’ll be no match for us after we transcend our earthly bags of bones and fuse our collective consciousnesses to refurbished Tandy 1000s.

People always claim that Trump is playing 4D chess. His moves are so unpredictable and counter-intuitive, and yet you just know the only possible explanation is that it must be because he is 12 moves ahead of you. I know this because I myself have beaten a computer at chess several times on the “very easy” setting. We here on the AltLeft have our own preferred game though. It’s called Hungry Hungry Hippos, and we’re playing for our fair share of all the marbles.

The Outer Limits of an Ideological Future

“See, it’s always the same. Clouseau is sitting there, in a chair, just like you, with his back to me. Then suddenly, my hands go round his throat, and I begin to squeeze. It’s wonderful. It’s marvelous. I’m squeezing. And the more I squeeze, the freer I feel. I’m in ecstasy. And then suddenly, suddenly my problem is solv-ved.” -Inspector Dreyfus

My old friend Millennial Woes has been cranking out a lot of thought provoking content as of late. One thing I like about his videos is that he tends to leave them somewhat open ended, often hinting at a conclusion but leaving it for the audience to ponder. One of his recent videos, titled “Signs of An Ideological Future” he talks about how we’re reaching (or have reached) a stage when many people are no longer interested in debating or even hearing from people that have views which don’t conform to their in-group orthodoxy opinions (even if the debate comes from someone within their own movement, and whose involvement in said movement predates their own by many years.) I’ll come back to this later. Near the end of the video, Woes floats the possibility that for those on the left that hate SJWs, there may be no alternative for them but to join the AltRight. A year or two ago I might have agreed with this likelihood but not now. I’m not sure what form they will take, but alternatives inevitably will emerge when push comes to shove. Why do I think this? Another of Millennial Woes videos offers a partial clue.

To put it mildly, there are too many crazy and retarded people in the AltRight itself. I’m not talking about people with “extreme beliefs” (or whatever.) I recognize the importance of desensitizing people to social taboos through trolling, irony and shock humor, and I operate on the principal that anything should be up for rational (small r) discussion. I addressed this before, defending Richard Spencer during the NPI “salutegate” uproar as well as the Milo controversy. What I’m talking about now though is the issue of personalities. There are substantial numbers of vocal groups in the AltRight that are outright lunatics and an even greater number that have such insufferable personalities that one wouldn’t want to get stuck hanging out with these jugheads alone for 5 minutes at a party, let alone live in an ethnostate with them and thousands of their cohorts, even if one might agree with them ideologically on 90% of issues.

Of course I’m not talking about the primary AltRight thought leaders like Spencer, Woes, and Greg Johnson (who are frequently attacked by the same socially abrasive mobs whenever they say something interesting) or other minor figures and writers. I’ll give some examples…

This happens to Richard Spencer almost weekly where he casually spouts an opinion that deviates from the traditional right wing dogma. Instances of this include his skepticism of the “holodomor,” his arguments against local ethnonationalism in favor of a European racial superstate, his support for universal health care and his having the audacity to express even the vaguest tolerance for transgendered individuals. In many cases these contrarian type statements are simply thought experiments, but according to ideological enforcers, no exploration of ideas is allowed, no creative thinking will be tolerated. You’re not permitted to question anything in the unwritten AltRight sacred mythological canon, no matter how many holes or inaccuracies you can demonstrate in it.

In another glowing example, Tara McCarthy took a break from promoting unfounded pizzagate conspiracy theories to make a video called “The Dark Side of the AltRight.” In this video she sensibly chronicles and denounces some of the recent incidents of random violence by a few kook members of the AltRight. Scores of morons in the comments pounced on her, attacking her for daring to suggest these acts of violence were dumb and counter-productive. Note that we’re not even talking about self-defense or some kind of perhaps inevitable political violence that could conceivably lead to a declared objective. These were instances of a lunatic killing other people in “his own movement” and another was just
some drunken idiot randomly stabbing an ordinary black guy on the street. There were other incidents and stories as well, but they featured more or less the same level of nuttiness. We all understand why the media amplifies these stories and downplays black on white crime, but at the end of the day it’s not unreasonable to demand mentally coherent conduct in public from members of a movement which purports to be fighting to preserve/restore civilization.

Yet another recent instance where hordes of unhinged AltRight people freaked out was when Beardson Beardly made what I thought was a very persuasive video in which he articulated the mildest criticisms of the ultra lame “white sharia” meme. I don’t even tend to agree with half of Beardson’s opinions, but I enjoy his vids because he has a fun going, down to Earth personality and more importantly he is able to think for himself. He’s someone you could get along with. Also he likes the Beach Boys and wore a Ween shirt in one of his videos, so you can’t really go wrong there. Anyway, later in the video Beardson takes issue with the people in the AltRight who were making fun of “Aids Skrillex” for working in a grocery store. Beardson makes an appeal to empathy and argues that they should prioritize directing their energy toward more big league opponents rather than harass some random kid who made a few anti-white comments at a shitty Trump rally. Incidentally I would have asked the question, “What’s wrong with working at a grocery store?” Especially the one he supposedly works at, which appears to be an awesome heath food / farmers market type of store. Even if it wasn’t though, who cares? I though the AltRight was supposed to be on the side of the working class. Why would they be shaming someone for working a perfectly respectable job? This hypocrisy reveals many of them to be no different from normie rat race republicans, equating someone’s worth in life with how much money they make. Anyway, commenters didn’t hesitate to pile on and trash Beardson for making this video. The significance of this is that Beardson is a far right, radical traditionalist and race realist. If the AltRight rank and file are willing to go berserk and shun someone like him over a minor disagreement, then it hardly seems worth it for people who have broader cultural disagreements to bother entertaining the idea of getting involved with the AltRight.

As Greg Johnson has pointed out, “bullying only works on psychologically weak people.” Intelligent, self-confident and capable individuals don’t care if you call them “beta males” or tell them they have “too much soy in their diet.” They don’t care about being called a “cuck” (a once clever insult which had a specific racial meaning that has since been ruined by misuse.) They don’t give a shit about being called a faggot or degenerate. They will just laugh it off and conclude you and your squad are a bunch of insecure halfwits. Ultimately though, they will dismiss you and move on.

At this point you might be thinking “Yes, but if these leftists or AltLite people hate SJWs enough they will come to the AltRight anyway. They’ll be forced to.” Don’t be so sure. If someone like me (who has been writing explicitly pro-white articles for several years) can deduce that the personalities that makeup the AltRight legions are so insufferable and illogical that one could actually find themselves preferring the company of the skeptic community or even actual SJWs…then what are the odds that normal people will take the Nestea Plunge into the AltRight and stay there? By normal, I don’t mean “normies” either, just intelligent open-minded people who may be willing to give identitarian ideas a fair consideration. Indeed, many writers and thinkers that have been pushed into the AltRight over the last few years as a result of excessive anti-white hatred and political correctness, have already come and gone, having grown weary of the toxic and loony atmosphere. They reached back into the medicine cabinet for another colored pill, the first one they could find…and checked out.

It’s become clearer and clearer over time, that when many in the AltRight talk about preserving “our people,” they’re certainly not talking about White people or Europeans. They’re talking about a teeny tiny subset of Whites that embrace radical traditionalism (which traditions though?,) “White Sharia,” arranged marriages, primitivism, Little House on the Prairie living, specific types of architecture, “nofap,” weird conspiracy theories, and a host of other things bundled in, which hundreds of millions of healthy and well-adjusted White people would want absolutely nothing to do with. Yet if one expresses a different preference on any of these issues, the AltRight mall security busybodies are out in full force to shake you down.

To be successful, these movements will require a unionization of many different types of White Europeans and even non-whites who display a willingness to contribute and prove they have a role to play in these societies. The choice though, won’t simply be limited to SJWs and AltRight. Whether it’s Nazbol, transhumanism, corporate monarchism, neoliberalism, communism, anarcho capitalism, LandBrand neoreaction, chic nihilism or whatever…there will be many different options for people to gravitate to, for those that decide not to lock themselves into what’s fast becoming the equivalent of an ideological padded room.

The Safety Pin Dance

blacksquare
Russian stamp bearing Kazimir Malevich’s “Black Square,” a painting which x-rays discovered an inscription that said “negroes battling in a cave.”

There’s a retarded new social media virtue signaling fad where people change their profile pictures to just a black space to protest Trump being elected president. Some people are also wearing safety pins to show their solidarity with designated victim groups which are supposedly threatened by Trump’s recent electoral victory. What these gestures signify in actuality is that those participating have learned absolutely nothing from this election cycle (and developments in the years building up to it.) Anyone partaking in these pathetically self righteous protests is demonstrating a lack of self reflection. They’re merely advertising to everyone that they have an impaired ability to process any societal reverberations outside their own echo chamber.

Here’s the thing, in case you weren’t aware, this kind of “change my profile picture in support of the latest cause du jour” virtue signaling and #BringBackOurGirls styled hashtag activism has become an eyeroll inducing joke. This hysterically contrived outrage and the accompanying transparently token gestures are in fact part of the reason Trump won.  A lot of people are sick of this kind of cornball bullshit. “LGBT people” have little to nothing to even fear in a Trump administration. He isn’t a social conservative. He has openly said gay marriage is the law of the land. Trump even said he didn’t care what bathroom trannies used. Peter Thiel, who is gayer than a 3 dollar bill, is on Trump’s white house transition team and was a key speaker at the convention. It’s true that Mike Pence is anti-gay (the whole electro-shock thing is pretty retro,) but Trump probably must have felt he had to pick him to throw a bone to religious conservatives. He got some bad advice on that one if you ask me (I hoped he would have chosen Jim Webb,) but then again he won so what do I know…It’s not like anyone was going to give Trump credit for being liberal on these issues anyway ( I can almost guarantee that many people rocking these safety pins are totally ignorant of Trump’s stances on these issues.)Trump’s positions on social issues as well as his anti-war views, his opposition to free trade and outsourcing were all reasons he was accused by his conservative opponents as being a democrat in disguise during the republican primaries. In many ways he was, and that is precisely what made him appealing!

black_square_by_kazimir_malevich_t_shirt

Some of the people out there calling for resistance and revolution have clearly not given much brain power to the idea. I’m not sure that agitating for civil war would be a wise decision for them. Whom do these people think the police are going to side with? People like Deray and Triggly Puff?  Do they really believe the military is going to align themselves with blue haired, safety pin wearing Tumblr freaks and feral black rioters? That kind of vanguard might be sufficient if all you’re doing is burning down your own cities that no one else cares if you destroy, but it’s not going to catapult your revolution very far outside your hugbox. The misinformed and violent BlackLivesMatter protests as well as the endless stream of social justice street theater have contributed to a backlash which partially manifested in the form of Donald Trump being elected president. And yet, the same cast of characters are doubling down on anti-white sentiment and intersectionality! They haven’t thought through to what the next backlash they’re inviting may escalate to.

Instead maybe try some self reflection. Attempt to piece together what led us here. It’s like, what did you think would happen when you encouraged all these different ethnic groups to identify tribally and assert their ethnic group interests? What did you think would happen when you constantly promoted “white guilt” and insisted every white person “examine their whiteness” and check his/her white privilege. Trump won white millennials, white women and white men. In awakening white people to a conscious racial awareness, you’ve unconsciously awakened them to a realization that they too have group interests and may need to assert them in order to maintain an environment that isn’t hostile to them. Safety pins won’t offer much protection for anti-white activists from the future they’re unleashing, but they might generate a few laughs along the way.

Last Minute Reflections On a Dime Store Election

ivanatrump

I haven’t been inclined to make a bunch of predictions about the presidential election, because I honestly have no idea what will happen. I don’t feel the need to pontificate about things I’m not confident on. Also, I have a tendency toward pessimism and don’t really feel the need to kill the vibe of those who are hopeful by being a debbie downer. They’ll be plenty of time for that later regardless of who wins. I find normie politics to be incredibly vapid, and the fact that the quality of discourse is a reflection of the broader contemporary electorate doesn’t leave me with much inspiration for the future.

Will there be riots and unrest if Trump wins? Probably but who knows how significant they will be…some street theater and a couple of chimpouts? I’m not a “prepper” or weekend warrior so I’m woefully unprepared for any kind of extended civil unrest.  To quote Mike Myers in Wayne’s World, I don’t even own a gun, let alone many guns, which would necessitate an entire rack.” All I have is a dagger and a 1980’s era BB pistol probably buried under a pile of clothes somewhere, which I have no idea if it even works. It was just something I found in my grandpa’s closet after he died several years ago.  It’s not as though I’ve been stockpiling non-perishable food items either.  If the shit hits the fan, I have a couple gallons of water on hand and maybe a half empty box of Creamsicles in the freezer leftover from last summer.  Then again, I’m not a millennial. I took hunter’s safety courses as a kid and have some basic survival skills, mostly acquired by being broke in Los Angeles in my early 20s, a time when I primarily lived off microwave popcorn shoplifted from 7/11.

Anyway moving on, I’m voting for Trump for the following reasons:

  1.  He’s against free trade and outsourcing.
  2.  He’s campaigned as a non-interventionist in foreign affairs or at the very least advocates for a foreign policy that serves America’s interests. He wants peace with Russia rather than confrontation and involvement in conflicts that are absolutely none of our business.
  3. He opposes mass immigration from third world countries which are culturally incompatible with ours.
  4. He opposes political correctness and his victory would be a devastating blow to the speech police and social justice busybodies.
  5. He is fairly socially liberal and unlikely to get much into biblical moralizing other than vaguely paying lip service to Christianity.
  6. I’m white, and he’s the the only candidate who isn’t openly hostile toward white people.

Hillary represents the worst of all worlds politically, combining aggressive neoconservative foreign policy, open borders, global corporatism and intersectional feminism. She’s not even worthy of consideration.

The only other candidate that merits any serious attention is Jill Stein. Though I agree with her on many issues, at the end of the day she’s still a a Jewish social justice warrior. She supports black lives matter and frequently spouts anti-white rhetoric. She wants to import millions of people from the third world. This of course would make universal health care, free college education, and increasing the minimum wage totally unworkable mathematically. Like Bernie, she’s too consumed by the social justice worldview and too weak to make the politically difficult choices which would make progressive social policies practically viable and sustainably solvent. A birth for a death, one for one, it’s the natural way.

Stein even chose an anti-white black radical, Ajamu Baraka as her VP. She also seems to support all kinds of pseudoscientific health quackery. So yeah, no thanks. In conclusion, Stein would make a great candidate if you’re a “kangz” black nationalist or non-white immigrant looking to hitch a ride on the trojan horse of archetypal Jewish influence for as far as it will take you into whiteopia.

Actually there is one other interesting candidate, which is Transhumanist Party candidate Zoltan Istvan. As a futurist being highly supportive of life extension research, artificial intelligence and government prioritization of scientific progress I’d gladly vote for Zoltan…. if he had any real chance to win, but he doesn’t.

I’m voting for Trump on Tuesday, but beyond that, all bets are off.
